Executive Director

​Molly Dunn joined Preschool Advantage in 2014.  As the full-time Executive Director, she works with the schools and families to provide the best program possible for Preschool Advantage children.  Her responsibilities include coordinating the Preschool Advantage Child & School Committee, executing outreach efforts, directing fundraising and managing all general administration.

Prior to joining Preschool Advantage, Molly was the Development Director for several Morris County not-for-profits, including the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, Mayo Performing Arts Center and the Morristown & Morris Township Library Foundation.  Prior to her career in the not-for-profit sector, Molly held senior management positions in several strategic consulting and multinational corporate organizations.  She holds an undergraduate degree in Business from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.


Development Manager

Kathy Trethaway has joined Preschool Advantage as the Development Manager.  Her responsibilities include securing foundation, corporate, and individual sponsorship; assure compliance with current grants in the portfolio by monitoring grant reporting requirements and preparing narrative and financial reports as appropriate; fundraising projects; event planning; public relations; and expanding the Preschool Advantage mission.

Kathy has over 11 years fundraising experience focusing on event and volunteer management, sales and marketing.  Prior to joining Preschool Advantage, Kathy has worked at CancerCare, Multiple Scoliosis Society and March of Dimes.  She has experience developing, executing, and managing all fundraising aspects, advocating in the community in order to cultivate donor and volunteer relationships and marketing campaigns.  Her love for children and her experience working as a preschool teacher has led her to Preschool Advantage.  Kathy has her Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing from Caldwell University.
