Our Staff

Executive Director

Molly Dunn is responsible to the Board of Trustees for overall organization operations, and she leads the implementation of the organization’s strategic growth plan.  Additionally, she provides leadership direction in the management of both institutional and major donor relationships and fundraising.  A passionate advocate of Preschool Advantage’s mission, Molly works closely with our partner schools and families to ensure children a quality preschool program of the highest standard.  Her responsibilities include coordinating the Child and School Committees, executing community outreach efforts, day-to-day finance, and administrative functions. A seasoned nonprofit development professional, Molly served as Development Director for several Morris County nonprofits, including the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, Mayo Performing Arts Center and the Morristown and Morris Township Library Foundation.  She also held several for-profit senior management positions in past years at multinational and strategic consulting organizations.

Director of Development

Anneke Demarest is an experienced development professional whose role is to spearhead fundraising efforts as Preschool Advantage continues to grow. She is responsible for developing and executing the annual fundraising plan, and for securing financial support from individuals, foundations and corporations.  Prior to joining Preschool Advantage, Anneke’s positions in development included Director of Development at Jazz House Kids in Montclair, Associate Director of Development at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey in Madison, and Donor Relations Manager for The Nature Conservancy in New York City.  Anneke holds a B.A. from Franklin and Marshall College and an M.A. in Fundraising Management from Columbia University.

Marketing & Special Events Manager

Sally Hespe has primary responsibility for three broad areas: Marketing/Public Relations, Outreach (Families and Community Leaders), and Event Planning. Sally is also responsible for general administrative matters for the organization. Before joining Preschool Advantage, Sally worked in the Foundation office at the Midland School.  She has also fulfilled numerous volunteer roles, including recruitment leadership at her alma mater, Franklin and Marshall College, where she represents the college at area college fairs and receptions.  Sally has been involved in a variety of ways with the Somerset Hills Educational Foundation and St. John on the Mountain Episcopal Church in Bernardsville.  As a parent and substitute teacher in the Somerset Hills School District for almost a decade, Sally witnessed firsthand the struggles of many local families whose children were unable to attend preschool due to financial constraints.  She is thrilled to be able to contribute to Preschool Advantage’s vision that every child should have the opportunity to attend preschool.
