On May 3, 2012, next year’s crop of Preschool Advantage students and their families met for dinner and a brief orientation program in the Family Services conference room. While children were kept busy with arts and crafts run by teenage volunteers from Morristown High School parents heard advice on the exciting year to come.
Before leaving, families received book bags crammed with goodies from Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation and books donated by Kerri Mandelbaum and her family. The Preschool Advantage parents’ excitement about their children starting preschool next year was contagious. One mom said with tears in her eyes as her daughter excitedly leafed through a brand new book, “I could never afford to send her to preschool next year. You can’t imagine how grateful I am to Preschool Advantage for giving my daughter this opportunity.”
