Executive Director

Karen Titterton has been with Preschool Advantage since 2003. As the full time Executive Director, she works with the schools and families to provide the best program possible for Project Acorn children. Her responsibilities include coordinating the Project Acorn Child & School Committee, executing outreach efforts, managing administration projects and record keeping.

Prior to joining Project Acorn, Karen directed the after school programs and summer camp at Montessori Children’s House in Morristown, NJ. She wrote curriculum and produced programs that provided enrichment and growth in early childhood development. When Karen is not working at Project Acorn, she conducts arts based workshops for various children and family groups in Morris County. Her background also includes 20 years of experience as business administrator and graphic artist for a family business, and owner of Visions of Art Custom Framing Company. Karen attended the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts.
