Executive Director
Karen Titterton has been with Preschool Advantage since 2003. As the full time Executive Director, she works with the schools and families to provide the best program possible for Preschool Advantage children. Her responsibilities include coordinating the Preschool Advantage Child & School Committee, executing outreach efforts, managing administration projects and record keeping.
Prior to joining Preschool Advantage, Karen directed the after school programs and summer camp at Montessori Children’s House in Morristown, NJ. She wrote curriculum and produced programs that provided enrichment and growth in early childhood development. When Karen is not working at Preschool Advantage, she conducts arts based workshops for various children and family groups in Morris County. Her background also includes 20 years of experience as business administrator and graphic artist for a family business, and owner of Visions of Art Custom Framing Company. Karen attended the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts.
Development Manager
Teresa Savio joined Preschool Advantage in November 2012 as Development Manager. Teresa has over ten years’ experience in non-profit program management. Before taking time out to raise her family, she was most recently Program Director of Housing Partnership of North West New Jersey, working in administration of grants, development and management of low and moderate income housing units in several townships, and community development funds in both New York and New Jersey. Prior to Housing Partnership, Teresa also managed a community based behavioral healthcare adult day facility in Andover New Jersey and has additional experience in personal counseling and facilitating group seminars. Teresa has a B.A. from Union College and an M.B.A. from the State University of New York, Oswego.
Teresa lives in Jefferson Township with her husband Sean, and is the proud parent of four: twin daughters Gabriella and Gianna, son Edward, currently attending Lafayette College, and their thirteen year-old chocolate Labrador, Kobe.
